A letter to U.S. President Barack Obama contained the deadly poison ricin. This is demonstrated by tests. Reported that the U.S. news channel NBC News Wednesday.
The letter was found Tuesday in an office where the mail is checked . That place is not near the White House.
Ricin
An employee involved in the investigation said that the letter resembles the letter that was recently sent to Republican Senator Roger Wicker. Tests revealed Tuesday that the letter contained the highly toxic ricin. According to NBC had two letters the same sender.
Boston attack
The letters come at a time when there are many additional security measures taken by the bombings in Boston last Monday.
By two explosions occurred in Boston three people were killed and over 170 injured.
Interrogation
It is still unclear whether there is a link between the letters and the attacks in Boston. The Secret Service and the FBI investigate the case.
