“The president is OK,” spokesman Jay Carney stressed the White House soon after the hoax that reached more than 1.9 million followers. This heralded (in English): “Breaking: Two explosions in the White House and the president is injured.”

The false message caused confusion in the U.S. stock market and pushed the Dow Jones Industrial Index briefly in the loss. Within minutes there was a marked decrease of 130 points, but quickly climbed the rates to achieve. Their initial level again
According to spokeswoman Erin White of AP, the largest news agency in the world, it is the first time that the Twitter Account of the agency was hacked. “We have an immediate message to our customers and our subscribers sent, but we still have no access to our Twitter account.”
