U.S. waive part of Europe missile shield

The United States show an important part of their plans for a missile shield in Europe are: interceptor missiles in Poland and Romania probably encountered fierce resistance from Russia. The waiver thereof might provide an opening to new disarmament agreement with Moscow.

Dropping the interceptor missiles is part of an overall revision of the plans for the missile shield against attacks from North Korea and Iran, on Friday by Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel explained was done.
