Mumford & Sons and Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys are the big winners of the Grammy Awards 2013.
The singer, guitarist and producer of American rock duo won Sunday night in Los Angeles four times the prestigious music prize. No other artist went with so many golden gramophones home.
MUMFORD & SONS
Dan Auerbach and his colleague Patrick Carney won in the categories of best rock song and best rock performance for Lonely Boy. The Black Keys’ El Camino was named best rock album and Auerbach may call himself a producer of the year. Another band, however, was off with the award for Album of the Year: Mumford & Sons with Babel. The win came as a surprise for the men ‘as The Black Keys all day to win were’.

JAY-Z & KANYE WEST
Gotye took three Grammy Awards. The singer-songwriter won earlier in the evening as the best alternative album with his Making Mirrors. His duet with singer Kimbra, hit Somebody That I Used to Know, was the best performance by a duo or group. That song was at the end of the event also awarded the title record of the year.
Jay-Z and Kanye West, each with six nominations prior to the favorites were, eventually went home with all three Grammys. The rappers won twice for their duet N ***** in Paris, which was named best rap song and best rap performance in the genre. The number that the two were with Frank Ocean, No Church in the Wild, was the best collaboration with rap and singing.
DJ and producer Skrillex also won three golden gramophones, including for his remix of Nero’s Promises. His song Bangarang was the best dance song and the eponymous album was the best album in the genre of dance / electro.

Other notable winners were Frank Ocean and Fun. The two, who also belonged to the favorite with six nominations, eventually left with two Grammys. Ocean won for his collaboration with Jay-Z and Kanye West in the category best urban contemporary album. The group Fun. was the best newcomer and We Are Young winner in the category Song of the Year.
Adele, the big winner of last year, this year could take home a Grammy. Her Set Fire to the Rain (Live) was the best solo performance in the pop genre. Paul McCartney came out as the winner in the category best traditional vocal pop album with Kisses on the Bottom. It was his fifteenth Grammy, but the first time he had won with a solo album.
The Grammy Awards were handed out Sunday night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. LL Cool J presented the event, which included performances by, among others Elton John, Justin Timberlake and Rihanna.
