U.S rock Legend Lou Reed died at the age of 71. With the Velvet Underground, he reinvented the rock’n'roll, ten years after Elvis Presley, making screaming guitars in art galleries, under the guidance of Andy Warhol. He was barely 30 years old when he became the historical figure to whom David Bowie turned to invent decadent rock before all the successive waves of rock, punk to contemporary New York scene, claim his patronage. Tireless provocateur – ready to embrace the cause of the death penalty as well as insultingjournalists who questioned him – he never stopped creating . Until Sunday, October 27, the date of death of Lou Reed, announced by the magazine AmericanRolling Stone .
